What’s great about Stephanie again?
We featured her first solo San Francisco exhibition earlier this year (full post here). Stephanie’s pieces are recreations of food items that trigger nostalgia and memories of community, but also touches on ideas of assimilation and integration. Ling Long Bowl, the piece featured above, was recently acquired by the Cantor Arts Museum at Stanford University.
Where can I see her new work?
Stephanie’s pieces are included in a group exhibition called “WARES! Extraordinary Ceramics and the Ordinary Home”, hosted by the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. The exhibition is open until September 2023. More information about her new work is available in the museum website here.
She is also in a Los Angeles group exhibition called “Clay Pop Los Angeles”, hosted by Jeffrey Deitch Gallery. In the meantime, her other work can be found in her gallery’s website.
